how many chain letters do you receive?
do you blindly forward them because you are afraid of the threat inherent in the chain letters?
each time i receive one, i read the chain letter, say the prayer intently and offer the prayer to God.
but i cannot believe that God - in exchange of the prayer - will suddenly give the person who prayed the misfortunes the chain letter threatens.
what good is continuing the novena (passing the prayer to so many people) when it is passed on because of the threat, not because of the prayer.
i would rather chain letters talk of blessings and not threats.
