In January of this year, SSS has strictly implemented
Circular No. 2012-008 regarding the payment of Sickness and Maternity benefits. This circular mandates all employers to enroll in any SSS-accredited bank.
If the employer is NOT enrolled in the program, any sickness and/or maternity benefits filed by their employees will be summarily rejected. Employees have to
refile their claims after their employers have enrolled in the program

Recently (maybe last month), she applied to be a voluntary member/contributor since she's currently unemployed. We just found out last week that she's pregnant. Is she entitled to any benefit? ReplyDeleteShe's due late December 2014 to early January 2015. Her last SSS payment was 2 years ago although we intend on making a payment either late this month or early next month

ReplyDeleteyou have to ask SSS. if you are employed, your employer should be enrolled because maternity benefits are given thru accredited banks.

ReplyDeletei should think you must ask the bank. But by the very nature of banks, this should take a day, provided all documents are submitted

ReplyDeletedepends on your employer. it is the employer who enrolls the company, not the individual. please check the bank list. if the bank is listed, all the branches of the bank will accept payments

DeleteGood day! Last April poh naaksidente kami ng husband ko. Then this September pag open ko ng sss online ko it was denied. sabi poh sa remarks employers not enrolled in smb payment thru the bank. Untill now poh walang binibigay ng company sakin sa sickness ko puro maghintay poh ang sinasagot ng hr. wala na poh bang chance na makapag claim ako ng sickness leave ko?

Just want to ask. when i verify my maternity claims is says it SETTLED na daw po. meron na check no., bank kung san diniposit last 11/5/2015. but then when we check our pass book wala nman pong nakadeposit. sbi ng sss wala na daw po sa knila yun nasa banko na kaso hanggang ngayon wala pa rin nakapost or pumasok sa account ng company. diba pag payment thru the bank dapat mas mabilis? what the sense of it? dapat chineke na lang nila ung pera ko na encash ko na sana. tagal ng banko bakit di pa nila ipost.

Deletemam ask ko lang po.nareceived ng sss-paranaque branch ung enrollment of Sickness and maternity benefits form namin na pino forward ng PNB june 19, 2015.kaso ng nagpunta po ako sa sss,until now di pa rin enrolled yung company namin,kz daw po ung adress na nasa SMB form ko magkaiba dun sa address na nasa system nila.ang ginawa po, pinaulit po ako pag forward sa PNB ng SMB form with the address na naka encode sa system nila.kaso ang sabi ng PNB by january 2016 pa daw po ulit sila mag forward ng SMB form sa SSS. ang tanung ko po, kung january i- forward ng PNB ung SMB form ko,then it takes 1-2 weeks daw po ung processing sa sss for enrollment ng SMB,so mga february pa po ako pwedeng magpasa ng mat reimbursement ko,ang tanung ko po pwede pa rin ba ung maternity claims ko kung nanganak ako nung august 21, 2015 pa?.thanks po

DeleteHi Mam, I want to share. I filed my Maternity Benefit in SSS SM aura last April 4. Approved last April 28 and as per checking in my online SSS. It's already settled claim. I tried to call SSS Hotline and they said monitor ko daw this week or next week. Payment thru bank from the date na na-encode nila sa system is 8-10 banking days. Now, I'm waiting for the amount in my account :) As long as all the requirements are good. Wala po magiging problem.

ReplyDeleteGood Day po! After po ba maipasa ni employee yung complete requirements to the employer. Kailangan po ba bayaran muna ng employer si employee for whatever amount entitled to her for her benefit? Then Employer will be the one the submit the requirements to SSS and SSS will reimburse the employer? Is it how it is done? or just wait for the amount to be credited to the bank before the employer gives the employee her benefit?

weeks after that, when we checked SSS online, it is stated as CLAIM SETTLED.
By June 27, she finally received her money on her bank account.
there is also a bit of discrepancy on the back details that we provided. The bank servicing branch that she provided to SSS was Makati Pasong Tamo.
While her Bank account servicing branch is actually Makati Insular Ayala.
despite the error. We still have received the money on her account.

Good day po, ask ko lang po regarding po sa maternity reimbursement ko. Ok napo yung mga form ko like ung mat 1 and mat 2. But unfortunately po hindi pa daw po nakau enroll yung employer ko doon da payment thru bank. Sss gave me form to enroll, yung sa part po ng bank information yung employer din po ba yung pipirma doon sa may authorized signatory? Then dapat po ba na iadvance ng employer yung claim ko kahit hindi pa po settle lahat para sa reimbursement requirements ko? Thanks
