A Goodreads quote from one of my fave authors - Tolkien

This verse is attributed to Aragorn of Arathorn, Strider as he was called as a Ranger, and King Elessar ... there at the end......

Not all those who wander are lost.

J.R.R. Tolkien

Happy birthday, Bilbo Baggins! The Fellowship of the Ring opens with a celebration of the hobbit's special day. September 22 is also Frodo's birthday and the America Tolkien society proclaimed it Hobbit Day.

or if you are lazy to click, below is the quote ...

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

the take is - and to use another quote - do not judge a book by its cover ...

take the time to know ....

Quote to start the day from Goodreads

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.

J.R.R. Tolkien
The author of The Lord of the Rings was born on this day in 1892.

So, have you decided what to do with the time that is given to you?
Oft times we dont exactly know what to do.  i am very glad that this blog has given me the opportunity to do some of the things i want to do -

write, share stuff i know, and help - even in just SSS-related matters
