In line with my blog point, I have this quote from the bible and from an email

We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work”
(John 9:4)

Our opportunity to expend great energy for God could suddenly be gone.
Make the most of your “day”!

In my own words,

Make Today Count
Do not postpone til the morrow what you can do today

The Sky is Falling

Remember this little ditty that was the refrain of Chicken Little?

Well, ladies and gentlemen, lapis and fountain pens

The Sky is Falling.  Climate Change is upon us - all of us.  Not just people in the USA, or people in Europe, or other far-flung places, but here - on the street where we live.

I am not a calling doom soothsayer.  But doom, as Frodo said to his faithful Sam, is upon us.  The moment of Choice.  Now. This moment.  Not tomorrow.  Choose wisely. Choose correctly.  For Chaos is an unforgiving entity.  Already the ice has receded by 18%.  Dont believe me.  Read about it. Google it. see the pictures for yourself.

read about animals needlessly dying.

let us each do something, no matter how small. Even if it is just your garbage and recycling.

Choices - 1

There will probably be a series of posts on Choices.
i hope some of them will be funny, and not all serious.
i choose to find laughter in this world, and better, to help spread laughter.

Rachel Olsen writes these words in my crosswalk email

• We always have a choice between hope and despair - no matter what circumstance we are in.

• We always have a choice between fear and faith - no matter how bleak things look.

• And we always have the choice to give and serve - no matter how little we own.

and i agree. we choose. part of God's Will for us. To give us that choice

it is not always easy to choose rightly, and many times we may not choose what is best for us. or sometimes the hurts in our hearts take over the goodness.

pray with me that we may choose what is best in most times.

also, today is my lola - Petra Galvez Ongchangco's biological birthday.
she used to scold me at lunch because i couldnt hear her (she was right beside me) call us to lunch as i was reading on the dining table.
we ate lunch at the kitchen table in her home at Lardizabal, Sampaloc.
