You have probably seen this a few times in newspapers - or perhaps heard discussions on the air via radio or television -
Basically, this means that the contributions for the period January 1985 - December 1989 that may be missing and these missing contributions could substantially affect long term benefits such disability and retirement. These contributions, however, will NOT affect short-term benefits such as sickness, maternity, and salary loans.
Although SSS will accept requests for manual verification, these will not be processed until after December 2015, which is the target end date of the project.
However if you know and therefore believe in Murphy's Laws, then add another 6 months to that, so that would be after the elections of 2016 - another administration.
However, pensioners should not worry about the adjustment, if any, this will be given to them - but it is to be hoped that it will not be posthumously - so take care all of you pensioners

No, you dont need to request for manual verification. The SSS project will pass through all members and adjust accordingly

ReplyDeleteSa aking opinyon wala po kayong matatanggap na adjustment. Para lang po sa mayroong hulong from 1985-1989. Pero wag po kayong mawalan ng pag asa hintayin na lang po nating yung i vineto ni Pinoy na P2,000 dahil isinusulong na naman pa ng mga mambabatas natin.

you should check first with SSS to see if you are eligible as not all pensioners will be receiving an adjustment - see my post on this.

ReplyDeleteAko po ay napaki-usapan lang na magbaka-sakali na makapag-follow up kahit sa blog na ito dahil sa hirap po kami maka-contact sa hotline ns SSS na 920-6446 to 55, 920-6401 and 917-7777 kaya minabuti po namin na maghanap ng makakasagot ng tama sa aming mga katanungan.
Isangguni po sana namin ang adjustment ng pension ng tiyuhin ko. Napanood po kasi namin sa news three (3) weeks ago ang tungkol sa Pension Adjustment lumped 1985-1989. Nais po sana namin humingi ng assistance at kaukulan pang kaalaman tungkol dito. Kami po ay sumangguni na sa malapit na branch dito sa lugar namin, kami po ay naguguluhan sa instructions ng service officers na nakaka-usap namin. Yung unang nilapitan namin sinasabi po na need po namin gumawa ng:
1. Written Request Letter for Manual Verification of Contributions, 2 months daw po ang approval nito (napaka-tagal nmn po pala), then after two (2) months "saka naman daw po ulit" gagawa nanaman ng follow-up request letter
2. Written Letter of Adjustment of Pension
Dahil hindi po kami satisfied sa sinabi nung una, nag-second opinion po kami at lumapit sa katabing bayan na may branch at muli kami nag-inquire. Ang sinasabi naman po ng ikalawang nilapitan namin ay hindi naman daw na kailangan gumawa pa ng Written Letter 1 & 2.
Medyo talaga naman po nakakalito kung sino ang nagsasabi ng tama at totoo sa magkaibang branch.
Kaya naman po naisipan nalang namin kumontak sana sa inyong hotline numbers, but then, sadyang mahirap maka-tiyempo ng service assistance officer. Kaya itong last option namin ay mag-send ng email letter sa inyo.
Nais lang po namin malaman ang magiging status ng Pension Adjustment ng tiyuhin ko at sa paanong paraan niya ito matatanggap. Wala naman kaming nakuhang malinaw na paliwanag kung pagkatapos nito ay ano naman ang amin susunod na hakbang.
Mapag-ukulan po sana ninyo kami ng maayos at malinaw na atensyon.
Maraming salamat po ng lubusan kung inyo po kaming mapag-uukulan ng aksyon at tugon.
Naging iba-iba ang instruction nung komite na bahala sa adjustment kaya naiba-iba rin ang nasabi sa inyo.

IN THE COMPUTATION OF MY PENSION, THE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM 1985 - 1989 WAS NOT INCLUDED AND THIS WAS CONFIRMED. THERE WAS AN EMAIL FROM SSS FOR ME TO SUBMIT A CERTIFICATION FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER AND SO DID. I SUBMITTED TO SSS SALITRAN-CAVITE LAST OCTOBER 19, 2016. IN VIEW OF THIS MAY I GET CLARIFIED OF THE STATUS.
LIKEWISE, MAY I BE CLARIFIED TAHT AS OF THIS MOMENT, I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED PHP1,000.00 ADJUSTMENT.

SSS said we need r3 record from the last employer to claim the sss adjustment 1984-1989 backpay.Suddenly i ask the company we need a r3 or certification i want request that files and this company denied according the employeee master list i never be employed yr 1984-1989..according to sss this company posting 84-89 contribution ack company
