Of course everyone is aware of the new salary loan scheme
it is very simple.
the maximum loan is 30,000 thousand pesos. this is the grant when a member opts to loan two months and has been paying the maximum salary credit (current maximum is 15,000) for the last twelve months.
here's the actual computation. the amount is twice the average monthly salary credit over .... the last 12 posted monthly contributions. i have to clarify this statement as i already talked to several people with conflicting thoughts on this particular provision. however, if you have been paying regularly, without skips, then just average it, multiply by 2 - that's your maximum.
examples:
(1) you have contributions for jan-june 2012 with an MSC of 10,000 pesos, then transferred jobs and then you had contributions for MSC = 12,000 for july-dec 2012. you intend to apply a loan this january. your average MSC = 11,000
so your maximum loan = 22,000.00
(2) you have contributions for oct 2011-march 2012 at 12,000 MSC
then you transfer jobs, but there is a gap of 3 months
your contributions begin again july-dec 2012 at the maximum 15,000.
your AMSC for the last posted 12 months is then 13,500. so the maximum than can be loaned would be
13,500 times 2 = 27,000.00
updated for the example
UPDATED FOR READERS WHO DO NOT READ ALL THE POSTS ON SALARY LOAN
ONLY THOSE WITH 72 CONTRIBUTIONS OR MORE CAN AVAIL OF 2 MONTHS LOAN

Hi po, is this true even you have not reach yet the 72 months provision? For example po, I am working 5 years and my salary for the past two years is more than 30k. It will be my first time to loan. How will they grant me for a one/two months loan?
ReplyDeletejust one month -
ReplyDeletethe 72 month provision is a qualifying condition for a 2 month loan
what about the computation for a re loan, Madam after completing the 1st year amortization. say for example: I already paid the 12 months without any delay for 568.75/mo, My first loan amounting to 13000 then I would like to apply for a re loan..How much will I receive? Would it be doubled to 26000 then minus the remaining balance?
ReplyDeleteThank you.
it can be doubled if you qualify, that is, you have 72 months contributions.
ReplyDeleteyes, of course, the balance of your existing loan will be deducted
there will be new provisions if you apply under the habagat conditions, that is, you are in an area declared as a calamity area ....
i paid the extra amount for my loan this sept but is not yet posted (i paid it at central office). i paid it because for me to apply for my 2nd loan the outstanding balance should be lower or equal to 7,000.00 but my balance is 7,000.04 so i paid 100 pesos so that i can go ahead and apply for a loan but it is not yet posted. i paid sept 17, 2013. i expect that the payment will be posted right away because i paid at central office. and can you give a concideration on the centavo difference of the balance. it is just centavo of a difference and we cant loan our money's worth. i hope you understand. thank you.
ReplyDeletefirst of all, i am NOT an SSS processor.
ReplyDeletethere is a prevailing policy on this. this leniency is NOT allowed.
also, as far as my understanding on SSS payments, there are several processes it will undergo before it can be reflected. Definitely posting is SOONER than paying elsewhere but please remember that SSS processing is generally a batch system and follows a batch process. the many related process is also sequential
loans are generally evaluated by a program so that loans can be processed in a day. as a program it follows very strict rules, so a centavo difference is a big deal.
processing is NOT online, unlike banking transactions
Good day po Ma'am, may tanong lang ako regarding sss loan, sa pinakalatest policy nila, pag nag loan ka makukuha mo yung total amount na ni loan mo say for example 30k then dagdag nlang yung interest then divided by 24 months yun ang monthly amortization, how is that compare sa old system na pag nag loan ka kung saan if loan is 15k yung check amount is 15 k pro minus interest 1,500 at service fee mga 150 then monthly amortization of aroung P568 bakit po nagkaganun kasi kinuha na yung interest tapos interest na uli kasi P568 multiply by 24 months is more than 15 k, baka po ma englighthen nyo ako dito, at baka may possible follow up question ako
ReplyDeleteinterest paid in advance is the old policy. Salary loan payments are over a 2-year period,
ReplyDeleteinterest was deducted only for the first year, interest for second year is part of payments.
so the base rate where of the interest is still the principal amount, so ang dating more than 10% yung nacollect ng sss if im correct
ReplyDeletei do not understand your question
Thank you po ^__^
ReplyDeleterenewal can occur only when the loan is half paid or half the payment time has passed WHICHEVER is LONGER
Deleteso. your loan depends on your MSC, and the number of your contributions
Hello Ma'am, I have 143 total number of contributions @ P1560 and has already paid 50% of my renewal loan..this will be my 3rd loan.I would like to know if I qualify for the max loan of 30k,thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteas long as you are still actively paying your contributions and have at least a year of actively paying, you should qualify. you will of course get only the net proceeds
Deletehi maam ask ko lang pede po ba for pick up ung cheque?
ReplyDeleteyes. if someone can guarantee
Deletehi madame, baka alam niyo lang po ang sagot..31months lang po yung contribution ko sa sss pero kelangan daw 36mos bago ka makaavail ng loan,if ill pay in advance the remaining 5mos,pwede naba ako magloan agad?
ReplyDeletei missed this question and only noticed it now.
Deleteadvances do NOT count so the answer is NO.
Good day po! May question po ako about getting 2nd loan. Nka lagay s online acount q is that may utang pako na 4k then ang pwde kong maloan is 14k and minus 4k utang so 9k na. Bkit ganun nakalagay s online acount kopo? Please reply po!thanks!
ReplyDeletei dont know your MSC. The loan rules are :
Delete1 month loan if you have 36 contributions and 2 months loan if you have 72 months. Since you only have 53 months, you will qualify for only 1 month loan
hi mam 1st time ko po magloloaan am i qualify i have 24 contributions ? and how much will i get ? thanks
ReplyDeleterefer to the response above your question
ReplyDeleteMam, may overpayment ako na 1month from my last loan. pero hindi na post as payment for my new loan but instead posted as may last payment for my previous loan. Bakit ganyan?
ReplyDeleteyour previous loan will simply have a credit balance.
Deletethat is the current system
ReplyDeleteplease email me @ princessmargarett2012@gmail.com
thanks
there shouldnt be. but your employer will be penalized. keep your payslips as proof.

My 1st loan po kasi was 15k and nag attempt po ako mag loan ulit thru online since my company preferred to do it online kaso 15k lang po ulit yung loanable amount ko.
Hoping for your kind response Ma'am..
Thank You very much!
yes. 72 contributions are required to get 30K
DeleteGood day po. Just wanna ask if it's possible to have a reloan since i'm almost half paid (1year) from my 2 month loan this april 19, 2014? I've tried po kc online pero d dw approved since i still have existing loan...
Deletealmost will not work. you MUST have paid at least half the amount you loaned, or paid half the time WHICHEVER is longer.
Deletesince you say you have only almost paid half, you wont be eligible until you are really half paid.
i loan for the amt of $15,000 2 years ago but the check that i got from my company cost only $13,500. then i found out my company is taking payments from me for a total of $15,750. is this legal? i thought they are suppose to just take payment for a total of $13,500 since that is the exact amt that i got from them. hope you can enlighten me or give me explanation on how to compute for this :) thank u in advance
ReplyDeleteyou forgot to consider interest. loans carry an annual interest - this could be collected in advanced or throughout the payment period, or both, depending on the terms of the loan. there are also processing fees.
Deleteso for your loan, SSS must have deducted the interest for the first year in advanced, along with the other fees, hence you only received 13, 500
as for the interest of the second year, this was part of your amortization
Good day Ma'm.. I just want to ask for the method of computation for overdue loans. Is the 1% penalty computed on the loan balance or on the monthly contribution? and is it on an accumulated basis?
ReplyDeletehello.
Deleteinterest is based on outstanding principle
penalty is based on total outstanding amount, without the penalty amount. thus, total outstanding = total principal amount + total interest is subject to the penalty
hello mam. just wanna ask how to compute sss loan penalty? thanks maam. God Bless :)
ReplyDeleteplease see above reply. this question HAS already been answered
Deletegud day mam, balak po nmin mag load at this pang 3rd loan n nmin nagpunta kmi ng sss nag ask kmi kung magkano 3rd loan at ang sinabi ay 23k lang bakit gnun ung 2nd loan nmin nsa 21k lang bago ngaun 3rd loan tumaas lang ng 2k..last update nmin sa contribution nya nka 101 ba huzband q pwd po b kmi magload this time ng nasa 30k?..
ReplyDeleteonly those who are paying at the 15K MSC level and have 72 month contributions are qualified to borrow 30k
DeleteGOOD PM MAM
Deletecheck your outstanding balance pag sinilip mo yung my.sss
Thank you, Godbless!
the loan depends on your Average Monthly Salary Credit.
Deletethe maximum MSC starting this Jan is 16,000 but no one would have had that MSC for the last 12-month paying period.
What is the average monthly salary credit of this person paying 285 monthly? your question is incomplete.
if this has been the payment for the last 12 months and he has been paying for more than 72 months, then the max loan is 4000. the answer really is - it depends on a lot of factors
Question po maam...last 2012 pa po ako qualified for 1st loan kaso ang problema nung time na un wala ako 6 months na hulog...now plano ko po magloan na cguro nasa 46 months na contribution ko...and im currently employed po...kailangan po ba ung 6 months na hulog kailangan sunod2x un? Nakalagay kc sa rules posted 6 months contributions in 12 months..pwd ba kunwari 3 months hulog taz natigil taz hulog ulit ng 3 months...sa ngaun kc may 3 months hulog ako sa present employer ko taz b4 meron din kaya lang putol2x sya....pero for sure meron ako 6 months hulog within 12 months....qualified na po kaya ako?
ReplyDeleteif you have 6 months within the last 12 months, and as you say you have 46 contributions already, then yes, you can qualify for a 1-month loan. The loan amount depends on your MSC
DeleteHi Mam, just want to ask the MSC or Monthly Salary credit means?? How will I get it?? I am new with the terms, process, computation, etc..Sorry for that.
ReplyDeleteIm planning to apply my 1st loan this June since I've already have 36 months contributions and I am qualified for having continuous 12 months contributions. From May-August 2013, my monthly contribution is 1,248.00...then from September-Dec 2013, 1,456.00...then from January-May 2014 that's 1,540.00..
Can you estimate the figure on my 1st loan??
Thanks in advance and this will be a great help..
MSC. Monthly Salary Credit. This is the amount where all benefits are based on. if you know your contribution you can work backwards = contribution payment/contribution rate per thousand so for example 1,248/104=MSC. then compute the average so you get your loan amount.
Deleteplease compute on your own
good day Maam. Iwas able to read the feeds and most of my questions were answered.
ReplyDeleteBut I have one question..on the above feeds, u mentioned that to avail for the 2nd loan good for 30k , u have to have at least 72 total contributions, however considerations apply if the area was declared a calamity area. i am from Cagayan de Oro and presently working in cebu. How or how many months then anv required? Will it be less than 72 contri? And if yes, will our account be updated online? BecoZ I have a total of 69 contributions pa kasi..and I want to avail the 30k loanable amt
i cant remember the date of the calamity in cagayan de oro
Deleteso i dont know if the ease in loan conditions aare still in effect. If you are thinking of Agaton, CDO is not included in the list of affected areas.
if you are referring to the earthquake in cebu, the period was until May 2014, so the loan conditions are back to normal.
hi mam Good Day, i had my first loan last feb 2012 amounting to 15k , technically speaking base on year and numbers i already paid half of it or more since its already june 2013. however upon checking it online its states that it should be equal to 7,285 or less than 7,250.. i also checked my loan transaction payments online and payments was already been posted up till MAY this year however month of APRIL is not posted yet..? i already have 52 contributions and this is my 2nd loan if ever how much would i get ? and is it possible that a month was not been posted even May was already appearing online, what to do??
ReplyDeleteThank you
Have a nice day
it is June 2014 not June 2013.
ReplyDeleteyou can only get one month's loan less outstanding amount of your loan
you have to go to the nearest SSS and complain. bring your original receipts as proof of payment as well as copies of these for submission
maam very informative po yung blog nyo at thank's in advance sa isasagot nyo...tanong ko lang po, to avail the maximum loan (30k) requires 72 months po dba?eh pano po kung I- fulfill ko yung remaining months ko thru advance payment directly from SSS? 5 years na din po kasi ako...tnx...
ReplyDeleteyour question is confusing.
Deletewhat is the 5 years you are talking about?
advance payments count when they are due, not when they are paid - so advance payments will not qualify you for the loan if you lack it
Im contributing for almost 26months. My salary from 2012 is 12k, naging 14k then 14.2k and now 15.1k. First time ko po kasi
ReplyDeleteJust get the average of your salary and refer to the table of contributions - the value nearest to the average is your MSC and will be the basis of the loan.
ReplyDeleteHI question po.Im planning to renew my sss loan and I only have 5 month remaining on my loan.
ReplyDeleteplease log in to your my.sss to see the computation. i will not do individual computations
DeleteMy last contribution Dec 2013 when i resigned in my company. I have 43 month contribution already. I have still outstanding balance in my previous salary loan. How much po ung maximum loanable amount If want to continue paying as voluntary member 1100 per month. Kailan ako ulit makapagfile ng loan?
ReplyDeletei already discussed loanable amounts with many examples
Deleteplease check the computations therein
ReplyDeletekung nakalipas na rin ang more than half the payment period
DeleteGudam po ask ko lng po if pano po computation for monthly paymnt due sa 16k loan.
ReplyDeleteyou must ask SSS to make the amortizations for you.
Deletei dont have the program that does that
ReplyDeleteinsufficient data ito. please log sa my.sss so sss can officially compute for you
DeleteHello po. ang computation po ba ng salary loan penalty ay 1% of monthly amortization multiply by # of months late?
ReplyDeleteit is 1% per month on the principal and interest due.... so it can accumulate. suggest you let the system compute for you. your statement seems to be slightly in error because no accumulation is taken into account
ReplyDeleteI have existing first loan sakanila..
Loan Amount: Php 15,000.00
Loan Balance: Php 6,023.32
Loan Granted: May 2013
First Monthly Amortization: July 2013
Loan application will be rejected due to the following reason(s):
* 50% of the Loan Term has not lapsed. 50% Renew Date is on :08-01-2014
How much po kaya makukuha if ever on Aug 1 2014
i suggest you connect with my.sss and have the system compute. the amount of your loan will depend on payments posted. not the time.
ReplyDeletesss has a system for this - suggest you register to the sss system and have it computed by SSS
ReplyDeleteGo to the SSS branch and fill-up the form for a refund
ReplyDeletebaka may previous loan sila
Hello Guia. Please enlighten me. I have paid my full salary loan already and I would like to renew my loan, is it true that I am not eligible to get a re-loan since I only have 56 total of contributions?
ReplyDeleteconditions for a reloan - 36 months of contributions for 1 month, with at least 6 current contributions,
Delete72 is for a 2 month loan
Goodmorning Ma'am. I am 6 months pregnant po .I would like to ask kung pwede ba ko magsalary loan kahit nagnotify nako for maternity benefit? kung sakaling oo ibabawas po ba ung salary loan ko sa makukuha ko sa maternity benefit ko? TIA
ReplyDeleteyou can avail of the maternity benefit if you are eligible, same for the loan. these are separate benefits. Just check your eligibility
DeleteOkei Ma'am my maternity status based online is 'accepted' po... meaning to say pwede din po ako mag avail ng salsary loan while im waiting for my maternity assistance...?? tuloy tuloy naman po contribution ko for 6 years.. and based din po online 32k na po ang pwede kong ma avail sa salary loan.. Thank you.
Deletegudam mam po. i hv 56 contribution and i plan to apply for loan on october kaya lng po my cont. payment of april, may, june is 1,760 /month then i just paid my july, august, and sept 1,100 per month . i just want to ask lng po if hw much po kya ung magrant nila skin n 1month loan po. hoping 4 ur reply. tnx in advance.
ReplyDeleteit will be based on the average, and only POSTED contributions will be used, not advanced payment
DeleteMam before kasi nagselfemployed ako for 10 months and then naemployed na po ako for 5 years na po, kailangan ko pa po ba yun imerge bago ako makaloan? tyvm po
ReplyDeleteif you used the same SSS number, and you should because each SSS member must have only 1 SSS number, then these contributions are lodged under the same number, in your terms, they are automatically "merged"
Deleteif you used separate SSS numbers you have to fix this immediately
Hi, Ma'am. I had an SSS loan last Sept 2012 and had paid its balance (24,000) last feb 2013. Applied for a new loan on Oct 2013 bt was not able to get the full loan because SSS did not override /updated my payment. I complained there Aug2013 ,The payment was posted under OTC payment last dec2013 and filed a complaint to adjust the over payment last June2013. Tried to file again a loan to check if the overpayment is already adjusted but sad to say same story , I did not get the full loan. I checked with SSS tagaytay that the overpayment was posted in my 2012 loan that's why i didnt get the full loan. What should I do? cancel the check (how long is the cancellation?) or encash the check and re file complaint so it can be posted to my 2014 loan?
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. God Bless.
Erratum: June2013 should be 2014
DeleteReally up to you.
ReplyDeleteBut you have to file a complaint separately so that your loan will be updated.
If you need the loan already, then just accept the check, and make sure you get the settlement.
Good afternoon Madam,
ReplyDeleteAsk ko lang po about my auntie regarding sa sss nya, May makukuha po ba syang lump sum kahit na nag loan sya dati ng P500 way back 1970's pa daw yun?Ngayon po ay 77 y.o na po sya e! Thanks and more power po.

ReplyDeletehello po, ask ko lang my previous loan was 24k then my salary before was 20k per month I resigned last April 2013 then I worked again this year lang March 2014 with 10k salary. My question is can I avail a loan na? then how much? thanks.
ReplyDeletethis question has been covered by previous posts. see eligibility requirements
DeleteHi good day! Last October 1st, it was my first time applying for a loan which was accepted/confirmed by my employer the next day. I just went online now to check the status of my loan application and I got this:
ReplyDeleteApplication ineligible for the following reason/s:
* 50% of the Loan Term has not lapsed. 50% Renew Date is on :01-01-2016
* Net Loan Proceeds less than ZERO
I haven't applied for any loan yet, so this could be an error right?
suggest you check directly with sss as i cannot respond to specific details without knowing your actual case

ReplyDeleteyou should check first how many contributions are actually posted already
DeleteHi Maam Guia. I had my first loan 5 years ago and was not able to pay it because I went overseas and haven`t been much in my mind to think about it because I`m too far away from home. Until I realized that the penalty gone bigger every time and so the interest as well. My question is, if I`m going to pay it in full now including the interest and penalty, how sooner could I reapply for another loan and how much can I have? I`m now working in the Philippines for almost 3 years now after I came from my 2 year contract abroad.
ReplyDeleteask for an SOA and then pay so it is updated as of the day you will pay. you can borrow as soon as the loan payment is posted - and i dont know how long it takes - because it partly depends on where you paid. hoe much depends on your MSC
DeleteThanks to you Maam Guia
DeleteGood day Madam. Question lang po.
ReplyDeleteI already paid 50% of my 1st loan. And im planning to apply for a 2nd salary loan which i understand na ibabawas ung balance ko from the 1st salary loan. I'm on 57 contributions to date. I would like to know po how much ung pwd ko makuha sa 2nd salary loan? Hoping for your response. Thank u so much.
please read the post, the answer is already there
Deletegood day! i applied for my 2nd loan on july 2013. i've been consistently paying my contributions (as voluntary member) and the corresponding fee for the loan. i tried doing a re-loan online but the system rejected my loan application and replied with NET LOAN PROCEEDS LESS THAN ZERO. What does that mean and what do i need to do to avail of the loan? thank you!
ReplyDeletenet loan proceeds less than zero - meaning is obvious. zsro proceeds.
Deletewhat you think you have paid is not the same as what is actually posted. SSS will always base benefits on records posted. so first get a statement of account.
you MUST have paid at least half and at least paid at least a year to avail of a new loan. Also, net proceeds should be positive.
Good Day Maam Guia , inquire po kung mkakapag avail po ba ako ng 2nd loan kahit 64 contributios palang po ako .? kasi po 4 months nalang yung kulang ko sa 1st loan ko .?
ReplyDeletei have posted this too many times.
Deletewhat you know and what is actually posted may not be the same. to check if you are eligible, get a statement of your loan

Good day ma'am! clarify ko lng po ang cnabi ng friend ko that he loaned an amount of 45k last year. He's a member for 25 yrs already. If the max loanable amount is only 30k, bat po sya nkapagloan ng 45k? I'm a member for almost 18 yrs & paying a max cont for 3 yrs. Do I have d chance to have a loan higher than 30k? waiting for ur reply. .. thank you po.
ReplyDeletebaka ini-inggit ka lang nung friend mo.
DeleteMax salary loan is 2x the MSC of the member if he has at least 72 contributions
Could be higher than 30 because the MSC increased to 16K for 2014
ReplyDeleteit is 50% posted payments OR 50% of the time has elapsed, whichever is later. so, one year from date of first payment must have passed before one is eligible for loan again
Deletehi maam
ReplyDeletebakit hindi na nakalagay sa check voucher ang first year 10 percent advance interest payment?
i dont know.
Deletebut it doesnt matter - what matters is the interest and penalty you agree to
hi maam: can you explain this reply of urs dated OCTOBER 31, 2013:
ReplyDeleteinterest paid in advance is the old policy. Salary loan payments are over a 2-year period,
interest was deducted only for the first year, interest for second year is part of payments.
beyond what i already said, no.
Deleteam trying to find an example from a friend in the Member Loans Dept to illustrate this point - she hasnt replied
ReplyDeletesame as 2nd loan, there in NO OTHER AMOUNT

ReplyDeletework does not matter

ReplyDeleteim applying for my 2nd loan online but it show that the amount loanable is 14500 though ive been working for 5yrs with no gap of contributions... my 1st loan was 15k then 2nd loan is 14500.... panu po nangyari un??
Ma'am God am, ask ko lang po, if bakit 8,000 lang ang loan ko, ? e 1st loan ko po yun? Thanks.
ReplyDeletei dont know what your monthly salary credit is so i cannot answer your question
Deletegood afternoon maam guia. I applied for my 2nd loan online last march 13, 2015 and it was certified by my employer on the same day. I received an email from sss that my employer has already certified my loan and the email also contained a transaction #, my ss#, my employer's ss #along with status na certified na nga daw ng employer. I check my online account daily and it has been 16 days already but every time I check my loan status, details pa rin po ng 1st loan ko ang nakalagay dun.
ReplyDeletesuggest you call SSS. Loans processing take only 2-3 days so there is something wrong but i have no idea what. Call member_relations
DeleteHello! I have an existing loan and logged on to my SSS account to check if I could renew. Result was I was ineligible because Loan balance is greater than 50% of the total Principal. My question is if I pay the difference over-the-counter to meet required 50% of the total Principal, will it reflect immediately making me eligible to renew my loan? All other requirements are met except for this. If there is a delay, how long will I have to wait? Tried to back read but didn't find anything about this. If this was asked, I'm sorry, I probably missed it. Hope for your prompt response. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust to be clear, if I pay the difference today, can I apply for a new loan the same day? If not, how long will I have to wait before my online account gets updated? Thank you!
Delete2 conditions must be met:
Deleteat least 50% of the loan principal has been paid, and
at least 50% of the term has expired.
otherwise, no renewal.
no, payments are not reflected immediately unless you pay directly to SSS. it takes banks one month before they remit. you would have to wait until it was posted.
now, posting by SSS is daily BUT there are several systems that a payment has to go through before it is reflected in the loan balances. and posting to the loans file is the last step, so it could take a while. maybe a week.
ReplyDeleteGood day, I have existing salary loan which will be terminate on next year. I used to apply salary loan because they say somebody will use it on your behalf. Anyway I'am not accussing nor try to make issue about it. Peace....
DeleteMy question will be , can I possible make advance payment for the entire 2nd up to 4th quarter ( April - December 2015)?
Thank you...
i suggest you read the loan posts. loans depend on msc and number of contributions.
Deleteas for you, Jon - why advance payments?
My loans are payable in two years. I almost finished settle for a year.
Deletethe reason why I want to pay in full is that to avoid hassle paying every quarter.
Thank you
well, you could indeed pay in advanced - financially, you lose a bit, but if that is of no consequence - i am sure sss will be more than happy to receive your payments. make sure you keep your receipts. sometimes out of line payments can cause some problems....
ReplyDeleteno. requirement is min. of 36 months
Deletemam magknu kaya mkukuha q sa re loan if one year pla lng nbyadan q sa first loan q
ReplyDeleteno text talk please
DeleteHi! Just want to ask when can I renew my SSS loan of I am on a new employer?
ReplyDeletewhat? your question is not clear. it has nothing to do with a new employer
DeleteGood day Ms Guia. I just want to ask if I will be able to get the 100% loanable amount if I have already paid my previous loan in full within just 1 year.
ReplyDeleteif the payments are posted, and if half the term has elapsed. within one year is a little ambiguous, could mean less than a year and no renewals until at least half the payment term has elapsed
Deletethe payments were all posted and I was able to pay the full amount in 1 yr
DeleteGood day Ms. Guia. My mom applied for loan last Nov 2013 pero di nabayaran ung loan khit isang buwan. Ngaun she wanted to reapply pero di daw pwede kasi hindi nahulugan kahit isang buwan.
ReplyDeleteyes, if the loan is completely paid, including penalties and the payment is already posted
DeleteHi Ms. Guia,
ReplyDeleteIm currently employed now, i have an existing loan from SSS when I resigned from my previous company, I failed to transfer my SSS loan balance to my present employer due to the reason that I cannot download my statement account because the SSS web site was down, I even went to SSS to request for my SA but unfortunately they also cant provide me due to their system failure.
My contribution is updated as of today but unfortunately my loan balance is now getting bigger because of penalties, i havent paid it since August 2014 upto now.
1. My question is, can I pay my Loan balanace personally through SSS or any accredited banks?
I have an outstandind balance of 8000 and SSS said i can be eligible only if i can pay less than the amount of 6000.
2. If ever I was able to pay the full or half of amount of my total oustanding balance, will I be getting a maximum loanable amount of 30,000? Since it will be my 3rd loan?
I already have a total of 83 contributions as of April 2015...
Thank you very much in advance.
You may also e-mail me at charton_sarabia@yahoo.com
Im looking forward to your response...
I DO NOT EMAIL.
Delete1. yes, you can pay directly to SSS. less than the amount of 6000? that is ambiguous.
2. it depends. amount is regardless of the number of loans. since you were late, it depends on whether they will allow you to borrow the maximumj
Additional Info:
ReplyDeletei have 8 payments already from my previous loan, last payment was July 2014.
doesnt matter. you are still delayed with the payment
Deletehi, good morning! i tried to read the thread here and some of my questions were asked. the thing here is that, My first loan was Feb2013 for 15000 and yes i was not able to pay for it even for 1month.I asked SSS for my balance and told me it's now for $1800plus. For the eligibility, it's said 50% of the 15000 or less than 7500. should i pay for the 7500 or half of the total balance now?and can i reloan after the payment has posted and like for much? thank you
ReplyDeleteif your loan was in 2013, the loan should have been fully paid by March 2015 (2 years to pay). This means that you have to pay the entire amount to be eligible for a new loan. if you only pay half, you are still in arrears, and you will NOT be granted another loan.
Deleteloan depends on number of contribs
erratum: i tried to read the thread here and some of my questions were asked. ** answered
ReplyDeleteHi Maam. I am planning to leave my current employer. however i have an existing loan, is it possible for my new employer to continue my deductions or shall i pay in full before leaving my current employer?
ReplyDeleteyes, you can have your new employer continue your payments. do not forget to inform them.
hi asko ko lang po i have 39 contributions mag kano po makukuha ko in my first loan.. but i missed 1 month na hindi nahulugan. employed po ako..thanks in advance
Thanks.
no.
Delete8500 po na loan ko nung una 9000 po monthly salary ko at may 61 months contribution n co as of now.my question is how much can i get my second loan matatpos n ksi mbyaran ang first loan ko last august 2013 at currently employed ako
Bayad na atleast 50% at more than 1 year na rin.. God Bless.
your employer has to sign your loan so they will know you have a new loan. Your HR should take of payments. etc
ReplyDeletei dont think so, but i am not sure
Deletewhat if po within the twelve months 6mos lang po ung may hulog then ung MSC 12000 how much po ung loanable amount?..thanks po
ReplyDeleteHi maam. Good day po, i resigned with an outstanding balance pa sa loan ko, will i be able to get my final pay 100%? Or ibabayad po nila un sa sss? May bago n po ako company e, they asked me to sign up for an authority to deduct form regarfing my outsyanding balance.. Para sila na magcocontinue.. So, makukuha ba in full ung final pay? Thansks

Deletegud day mam gusto ko lang po malaman kasi po 1st loan ko ay 7,000 then 3years ko sya di nabayaran ngayon po balak ko na sya isettled check ng employer ko is 9k pa balance ko if sinettled ko po ito i have 62 contribution and 59,000pesos total contribution..magkano po kaya maloloan ko??for 2nd loan
ReplyDeleteplease read the post. your question has already been answered
DeleteHi Ms. Guia! I intend to pay my SSS loan balance in full at a bank. I'll know my outstanding balance on any day just by texting SSS. However, you mentioned in your earlier post that it takes them a month to remit to SSS. Will SSS be charging me penalties from the time of payment to posting date?
ReplyDeletewell, it will be adjusted when the payment finally gets to SSS, in the meantime, yes it will be charged interest and penalty
ReplyDeleteGood day maám!
ReplyDeleteWith regards to overdue SSS loan, Is it possible to pay it in a monthly basis again and just update it with SSS every time I make a payment? Thank you.
you will still be charged penalties and interest.
Deletepayments are first applied to penalties
Good day madam!
ReplyDeleteI just want to ask the computation of monthly amortization in sss salary loan? Thank You and advance!
you have to ask sss for the computation -
DeleteHi ma'am!
ReplyDeleteKakakuha ko lang po ng cheke ko for my first loan dito sa current employer ko, but I'm planning to resign and decided na sa next employer ko na lang po i'papadeduct yung payment ko sa balance ko. is it possible? sabe po kase ng current employer ko, ibabawas daw nila ung balance ko sa final pay ko. is it possible if i will ask my new employer for a waiver stating that they will be the one na lang na mag'deduct dun sa loan ko para di na mabawasan ung final pay ko sa current employer ko?
and ma'am just wanna ask also just in case my idea po kayo, kase ung current employer ko, invalid po ung TIN na binigay saken. nung chineck ko po sa BIR, di po saken nakapangalan pero kinakaltasan po ko ng employer ko for 3years now. can i sue them for that, na kinakaltasan ako pero wala paren po pala akong TIN sa BIR?
Hi ma`am 1st loan ko lang po sa SSS and I`m not expecting higher loan amount.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteI applied for a salary loan and was approved on August 12. How long will it take before i can get my cheque?
